Blackrod Scarecrow Festival 2011

Hi All,

Last weekend (2nd/3rd July) Blackrod played host to its 4th Annual Scarecrow Festival. It was a great weekend of community events for all the family.

The stars of the show are the scarecrows themselves, I’d lost count this year but i’d bet there were close to a hundred scattered around the village. The weather was brilliant and the village had a carnival atmosphere.

This giant Bertie Bassett was my favorite (well second after our own entry here)
