Negative Space
Hi All,
This is just a little something that I made in Art & Design class for my 3D course. Its a plaster mould of the inside of a disposable coffee cup.
I’ve been doing a little research into an artist called Rachel Whiteread who works a lot with casts of the negative spaces between objects, I thought this piece fits that style perfectly.
(Apologies for the crappy picture, it was taken in-situ as soon as the mould was removed – well torn apart – and was taken on my cameraphone in very poor light!)
